What's New
Discover the latest updates and newest improvements in Mystery Maker
Changelog highlights:
- Unified profile archive - Your profile now shows cases you created and shared-room cases you played, while avoiding duplicate history when you were also the host
- Richer player stats - We added played cases, right accusations, times guilty, and most played mode
- Profile personalization - You can now update your display name and profile picture from one place
This update makes Mystery Maker feel much more persistent. The new profile page works as a player hub where you can update your identity, review your saved detective cases, inspect shared-room history, and track how you play over time.
New features:
- Custom narrative context - Write a free-text story to anchor your case while the AI builds the mystery around it
- Custom victim - Specify optional details for the victim such as name, gender, age, role, and description
- Available across modes - Both options work in Detective mode, Impostor mode, and Multiplayer
The configuration screen now includes optional cards for narrative context and victim setup. You can give the AI a starting situation and victim canon, and it will generate a coherent case around those inputs without removing the existing fully generated experience.
New features:
- Custom scenarios - Create your own locations and themes for generated cases
- Better impostor mode integration - Custom names work more reliably in local and shared-room modes
- Improved preview - Review your configuration more clearly before generating a case
- General quality improvements - Better consistency across the case setup flow
You can now build mysteries in custom places such as private jets, islands, lofts, or any setting you want, and combine them with optional themes or situations. This made the generator more flexible in both Detective and Impostor experiences.
